High-tech veteran takes the helm of global shrink-fit technology leader
Eindhoven/Harderwijk, The Netherlands, February 27, 2025 – Dutch industrial accelerator Include Industries appointed Koen Driessen (51) as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TM Induction Heating per March 1st. After its acquisition by Include Industries in 2024, the global innovation leader in induction heating-based shrink-fit equipment is now preparing for growth. With a solid background in high-tech industries like Philips, Thermo Fisher and Vanderlande as well as nano-technology scale-ups Phenom-World and SparkNano, Koen Driessen brings new leadership and a strong commercial drive. Together with Rik van Dijk, who will continue to head the TM Induction Heating operations team, Koen will strengthen the position as a niche player in assembly solutions for motion and drive technology. TM Induction Heating’s standard and custom-fit systems are used in (dis)mounting of (electrical) drive systems, wind turbines and industrial bearings for general machine building.
‘With the new ownership and strengthened leadership team of TM we are ready for exciting next steps in global growth. I’m proud to be able to build on TM’s very experienced team, excellent application knowledge and high-quality products’, said Koen Driessen. ‘We are grateful to have attracted Koen for this pivotal role in TM Induction Heating. He brings a wealth of commercial and leadership experience in combination with a pragmatic drive for results, essential to capitalize on the global opportunities for our shrink-fit systems’, added Daan Kersten, CEO and co-founder of Include Industries.
