Jaroslaw Mazankiewicz is the owner of I-Technik in Germany. He is a TM Induction Heating distributor and very content about it.
“We have been doing business with TM Induction Heating since the beginning. Our relationship with them is a very good one, we understand each other well. We are more than a distributor, we have the knowhow to also give technical advice and support. TM offers us the needed education, training and support on the equipment and the various applications.”
“In every partnership it takes two to tango, and we are very pleased with their support. If we ever need their advice or help, we always get a quick response. The company has a very transparent contact routing, there is never any unnecessary delay if we need information or help. And that is just the people, but actually, the same goes for the equipment. Very transparent and easy to use.”
“What I think makes them stand out from other suppliers, is that they strive to have a representation in every country they are active in. This means that there is always someone close by, that can help the end user. A local representation knows the situation and the customers and does not have to travel halfway across the world to offer physical support.”
“Another thing that sets them apart is their excellence in customized solutions. Not just the technology they put into specific use, but also the way they go about a project. They will first prove to the end user that they can fulfill the required task within the set boundaries. On site if needed. Only then will the customer have to invest and commit themselves.”
Jaroslaw Mazankiewiecz is very enthusiastic about the new technical developments. “For the low-frequency heaters, the heating process is usually controlled with one sensor at the inner ring of a bearing. That means that the heater only measures the temperature in one spot, and does not take into regard the distribution of the temperature over the workpiece. The resulting temperature difference throughout the workpiece can cause stress in the material, harming even the material integrity. This problem has been picked up by TM and they have come up with a two-sensor temperature control solution. It enables the heater to monitor the temperature distribution over the workpiece and adjust the heating process if needed. A very close monitoring of the delta T ensures a gradual and even warming of the workpiece. If you consider the value of a large bearing, or the structural importance of certain parts, this is an important feature.”
“And in today’s time, datalogging is important too, so TM has incorporated that as well. The users can document every step of the heating process for quality-assurance and traceability. Further, the heaters are very robust and do not fail easily. TM even offers overhaul of old equipment, because the basics will last a lifetime. Older heaters can be updated with modern electronics, offering maximum sustainability. The heaters certainly have a very good track record.”
“R&D is a very important part of continuous improvement and facilitates new applications. TM is always looking for new ways, new solutions.”
“For me, the biggest confirmation of the quality of the equipment is the loyalty of the end user. Once they have bought TM, they stick to it.”
