Over the past few years, we’ve developed a very efficient solution for batch dismounting of bearing inner rings and labyrinth rings (e.g. of axle box roller bearings in rail vehicles).
Before machining the wheels of rolling stock, the bearing rings (NU and NUP) and the labyrinth rings must be dismantled. Important for the customer is the fact that the rings are dismantled without damage, so they can be used again. By sliding an induction coil over the inner ring or labyrinth ring and connecting it to a middle frequency generator, we are able to heat only the inner ring while the shaft stays cool. The inner ring can be used again without damage or overheating. The induction coil is relatively light and easy to handle.
If you need more assistance for your specific application, don’t hesitate to contact us. For performing this procedure, a middle frequency generator EHX-03A is needed, along with one or more Fixed Inductors (which are built for the specific part that is heated).
